Acceptance of These Terms
By accessing or using imagetoexcel.io and related ImageToExcel services (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Related policies
Our Privacy Policy explains how we process personal information and uploaded files. Together with any product-specific notices shown in the Service, these documents form the agreement between you and ImageToExcel for use of the Service.
Description of the Service
ImageToExcel provides web-based tools to help users transform supported documents into text, tables, structured fields, or spreadsheet-compatible output.
Conversion and OCR tools
Phase 1 capabilities may include:
- Image to Excel
- PDF to Excel
- JPG to Excel
- PNG to Excel
- Screenshot to Excel
- Image to Text
- PDF OCR
- Online OCR
Document extraction and export
Additional capabilities may include:
- document-specific data extraction (including finance document use cases such as bank statements, invoices, receipts, vendor statements, and credit card statements)
- structured review of extracted results
- spreadsheet export
ImageToExcel uses OCR and related data-extraction technologies to help users transform supported documents into text, tables, structured fields, or spreadsheet-compatible output.
Feature availability can vary by account, plan, or rollout stage. The Service does not guarantee that every document layout will extract perfectly.
Accounts and Eligibility
Some features may be used without an account; other features may require sign-in when account functionality is enabled.
Your account responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- providing accurate account information when you register
- maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials
- all activity that occurs under your account
- not sharing account access in a way that violates these Terms or circumvents usage limits
Eligibility
You must meet the minimum age required by applicable law to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
Your Content and Uploaded Documents
You retain your rights in content you upload. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights, permissions, and lawful basis necessary to upload and process that content through the Service.
This is especially important for bank statements, invoices, receipts, vendor statements, credit card statements, and other documents that may contain personal or confidential third-party information.
Limited license to operate the Service
By uploading content, you grant ImageToExcel a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display that content solely as needed to operate the Service and related support, security, and legal compliance functions.
Acceptable Use / Prohibited Use
Prohibited activities
You agree not to:
- use the Service for unlawful purposes
- upload or process documents without authorization or a lawful basis
- infringe intellectual property or privacy rights
- attempt unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data
- upload malware or harmful code
- disrupt, overload, or interfere with the Service
- bypass technical limits, rate limits, or security controls
- use abusive automated access that harms service quality or security
- use the Service to facilitate fraud or other abusive activity
We may investigate suspected violations and take action as described under Suspension and Termination.
OCR and AI-Generated Extraction Results
OCR, AI, and automated document extraction can make mistakes. Extracted text, tables, values, dates, totals, transaction information, and other fields may be incomplete, incorrectly recognized, or incorrectly structured.
Your review responsibility
You are responsible for reviewing and verifying output before relying on it.
What we do not promise
ImageToExcel does not promise:
- 100% accurate extraction
- error-free results
- guaranteed extraction for every document
- guaranteed accounting, bookkeeping, tax, or reconciliation accuracy
Financial and Business Documents
ImageToExcel may be used to extract information from business and financial documents such as bank statements, invoices, receipts, vendor statements, and credit card statements. The Service is a document-processing tool and does not replace professional accounting, financial, tax, legal, audit, or compliance advice.
Verification before business use
Users should verify extracted values against the original source document before using them for bookkeeping, reconciliation, reporting, payments, tax filings, audits, or other business decisions.
Structured extraction prepares data for your review workflows. Unless a specific product feature expressly states otherwise, the Service does not automatically complete accounting reconciliation or approve expenses.
Service Availability and Changes
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the Service. Maintenance, outages, provider issues, or force majeure events may temporarily interrupt availability. Unless we expressly agree to a separate written SLA, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Third-Party Services
Parts of the Service may rely on third-party AI/OCR providers, hosting, storage, authentication, analytics, email, or other infrastructure. Use of those providers is described further in the Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for third-party websites or services that you access outside ImageToExcel.
Intellectual Property
Our Service materials
The Service — including software, website design, branding, and related materials — is owned by ImageToExcel or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
Your uploaded content
Your uploaded content remains owned by you or the applicable rights holders, subject to the limited license granted above for operating the Service.
Billing, Cancellation and Refunds
This section explains how paid plans, credits, cancellation and refunds work on ImageToExcel. Current plan names, prices, credit amounts and limits are listed on our Pricing page and are shown again at checkout before you pay. Payments are processed by our payment provider and merchant of record, Waffo Pancake. Card and payment details are handled by Waffo Pancake and are not stored on our servers.
Plans and credits
ImageToExcel uses credits. One credit is roughly one image or one PDF page processed. We offer:
- Free: a small free credit balance for trying the Service, with the limits shown on the Pricing page. No payment is required.
- Monthly subscriptions (Starter, Pro, Business): billed every month. Each plan grants its stated number of credits every month.
- Yearly subscriptions (Starter Yearly, Pro Yearly, Business Yearly): billed once per year. Credits are granted monthly in the same amount as the matching monthly plan, not all at once.
- One-time credit packs (Quick, Standard and Bulk Credits), where offered: a single payment for a fixed number of credits. No subscription is required and packs do not renew.
- Lifetime plans (Lifetime Access and Lifetime Plus Access), where offered: a single payment that grants a fixed number of credits every month for the lifespan of the product. A Lifetime plan is not unlimited and does not include API access, team seats or shared quotas.
Payment authorization and automatic renewal
By subscribing to a monthly or yearly plan, you authorize us and Waffo Pancake to charge your payment method the plan price at the start of each billing period until you cancel. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.
Credit packs and Lifetime plans are one-time purchases. By completing checkout you authorize a single charge for the amount shown. They are not renewed or charged again automatically.
You are responsible for providing accurate, current billing information and keeping your payment method valid.
Prices are shown in U.S. dollars. Unless stated otherwise, prices do not include taxes; any applicable taxes are calculated and shown at checkout.
Credit expiry and rollover
- Subscription credits (monthly and yearly plans) are granted each month and are valid for that month. Unused subscription credits do not roll over to the next month.
- Credit pack credits are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Unused pack credits expire after 12 months and are not refunded once expired.
- Lifetime plan credits are granted every month for as long as the product is offered. Unused monthly credits do not roll over.
- Free credits have no cash value and cannot be refunded or transferred.
- When you hold credits from more than one source, the credits that expire soonest are used first.
- We will restore credits for failed conversions.
How to cancel a subscription
You can cancel a subscription at any time from your account under Settings → Billing → Cancel subscription. You can also email [email protected] from the email address on your account.
- Cancellation stops future renewals. It takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
- You keep access to your plan, and to the credits already granted for the current period, until that period ends. After that, your account returns to the Free plan.
- Cancelling does not by itself refund the current period (see the refund rules below).
- Credit packs you bought separately are not affected by cancelling a subscription. They stay usable until their own expiry date.
Refunds
Because the Service is delivered digitally and credits can be used immediately after payment, payments are generally non-refundable except in the cases below.
First purchase of a monthly or yearly subscription. If this is your first payment for that subscription, you may request a full refund within 7 days of the charge, provided you have used no more than 20% of the credits granted to you under that subscription so far. Renewal payments are not eligible for this guarantee.
Yearly plans after 7 days. After the first 7 days, yearly subscription payments are non-refundable, including for the unused months remaining in the year. You can still cancel at any time to stop the next renewal, and you keep access until the end of the paid year.
Credit packs. You may request a full refund within 7 days of purchase if you have used no more than 20% of the pack's credits. Packs used beyond that, or requested after 7 days, are non-refundable.
Lifetime plans. You may request a full refund within 7 days of purchase if you have used no more than 20% of the first month's credit grant. After 7 days, or after heavier use, Lifetime purchases are non-refundable. If we permanently discontinue the Service within 12 months of your Lifetime purchase, we will refund a prorated share of the price for the months remaining in that 12-month period.
No partial or prorated refunds. Except as stated in this section, we do not give partial refunds or prorated credits for unused time, unused credits, downgrades, or cancelling in the middle of a billing period.
Always refunded. Duplicate charges and charges made in error (for example, being charged twice for the same purchase, or being charged after a cancellation took effect) are always refunded in full.
Extended outages. If a verified outage caused by us prevents you from using paid features for more than 72 consecutive hours, we will, at your choice, extend your current period or refund the affected portion of that period's fee.
Your statutory rights. Nothing in this section limits any refund or withdrawal rights you have under mandatory consumer law where you live. If you are in the EU or UK, you agree that the Service starts immediately after purchase, and you acknowledge that your 14-day right of withdrawal ends once you start using the paid credits or features.
Not eligible. Refunds are not available for accounts suspended or terminated for violating these Terms, or for credits that have already expired.
How to request a refund
Email [email protected] from your account email. Include the transaction or order ID and a short reason. We will reply within 2 business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. They usually arrive within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer. When a refund is issued, the credits or plan access from that purchase are removed from your account.
Billing questions and disputes
If you think a charge is wrong, please contact [email protected] before opening a dispute with your bank. We will reply within 2 business days and correct confirmed billing errors within 5 business days.
Changes to prices and plans
We may change prices, credit amounts or plan features. Price changes for an existing subscription apply from your next renewal, and we will notify you by email before they take effect, so you can cancel if you do not agree. Changes do not affect a period or a one-time purchase you have already paid for.
Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
Without limiting the foregoing, we do not warrant that extraction results will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular accounting, legal, or business purpose.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ImageToExcel and its suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
This limitation includes damages arising from extraction errors, missing data, incorrect values, service interruption, or reliance on OCR/AI output.
Aggregate liability cap
If liability cannot be fully excluded, our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service will be limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid to ImageToExcel for the Service in the three (3) months before the claim, or (b) fifty U.S. dollars (US $50), unless a mandatory law requires a different result.
Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you violate these Terms, create a security risk, engage in abuse, or if required by law. You may stop using the Service at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and governing law) will survive termination.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the Last updated date on this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the ImageToExcel operating entity that provides the Service to you. The specific legal entity and jurisdiction will be confirmed and listed here when finalized for production. Until then, disputes should first be raised with us at the contact below so we can attempt an informal resolution.
